Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Live

Posted : July 23rd, 2008 by toyz

Jeff Beck and Stevie ! - this is from their tour in 1986/7 thru the USA which I was lucky enough to see at Madison Square Garden. Beck opened, Stevie came on next and then they came out and did “Goin Down” as the encore. They both where great but the one thing I remember was how incredible Dale Bozzio was on drums, what a power drummer. You can’t see any guitar amps, effects, or pedals so I don’t know what they where using on that tour ? Comments ? Click on picture to watch video.

Zvex Vexter Series

Posted : July 17th, 2008 by toyz

NEW Box of Metal ! - The Box of Metal ™ is an aggressive high-gain pedal with a highly-effective built-in switchable gate which dramatically reduces noise and unwanted feedback. It is available in Vexter (2-year warranty) and hand-painted (lifetime warranty-my lifetime) versions. Its gain and tonal characteristics are somewhat similar to high-gain tube amplifiers that have been the staple of hard rock and metal sounds since the 80’s. On the right, there is a true- bypass switch with an indicator LED to bypass the entire effect. Goto Products
