Bad Cat has released a small little channel switching amp at 7.5 W. Very basic but full of testosterone. The clean channel is just a volume knob, the 2nd channel has Gain, Bass, and Treble and a Master Volume controlled the overall volume.
This amp in channel two just rips, really putting out a cranked out high gain sound. Very versatile for practice, PA gigging, or recording. Gets a GREAT chunky crunch sound with single or humbuckers. Add a small delay pedal and it just is a great sounding amp !

The Tone Cat NEW!
 The Tone Cat is a 30-watt Class A amplifier that combines many of Bad Cat's unique features creating one of the most versatile amps ever produced. This channel-switching amp is tube powered using both EL-84's and EL-34's together or separately in the power section.
Channel one uses EL-84's to attain that exceptional sparkling clean sound that Bad Cat amps are famous for. EL-34's are used in channel two producing moderate break-up to heavy saturated gain with massive bottom end maintaining its dialed-in sound even at lower volumes. The channel switching itself is unique in that it does not rob the signal from your amp. It also allows not only switching between the two channels but a mix of both channels providing more interesting tonal possibilities. Once in the mix position switching between the 84's and 34's allows the tone to be shaped even further. No OTHER Class A guitar amplifier even comes close to the Tone Cat.

Powered by 4xEL84's for excellent clean headroom and significant reserve; the rear panel includes a HI / LO switch for handy 15W attenuation. The sophisticated Preamp section harnesses unlimited sound shaping capability using a Pentode EF86 with a series of 12AX7's tubes for the interactive Tone, Tremolo, and Reverb modules. The Hot Cat
 THE HOTTEST OF ALL CATS: The HOT CAT 30 WATT is available in a 1x12" or 2x10" cabinet or as a standalone Head. With one input labeled CLEAN and one input labeled HI-GAIN, the single channel HOT CAT can replicate 2 channel performance play by using an A/B or A/B/Y foot pedal switch. The concept and function of the HOT CAT is new, unique, and unlike any other Bad Cat model. For what amounts to a medium price all Class A amp, the HOT CAT offers a wide range of sounds from CLEAN to controllable and unusually fat HI-GAIN. Additional features, included only on the HOT CAT, extend useful versatility to both its intelligent front end and potent power section.
THE NEW HI-GAIN CLASS A STANDARD: The 12AX7 based preamp affords some overdrive loading if desired via the CLEAN input tap as well as sweep control of the clearly emphasized overdrive employed with the alternate HI-GAIN input tap. Control knobs include: CLEAN VOL, GAIN, EDGE, LEVEL, BASS, TREBLE, BRILLIANCE, MASTER VOL. Overdrive and general tone character can range from smooth to a controllable edge with more punch. Sound is shaped both with panel controls and via selecting either tube rectification or the included solid state rectifier circuit with the latter SS position favoring a harder edge, less compression, and more sustain. In brief, (a) the degree of overdrive content (b) overdrive edge (c) compression and (d) attack / decay envelope are easy to tailor to taste. The power section uses dual EL34 tubes to support continuous, very thick overdrive speaker power and a strong reserve of clean headroom. In contrast to other Class A models to date, as regards extraordinary sound possibilities, the HOT CAT runs appreciably ahead of the pack.

Also available as a standalone Head. Incorporating 2 entirely different preamp sections and a host of well thought out improvements, the practical user controls and backpanel switches render the smooth BLACK CAT the most suitable guitar amp for ANY performance venue.
TOTALLY UPGRADED, THE NEW STANDARD: The Channel ONE 12AX7 "triode" preamp is based on interactive Bass and Treble controls. Minor knob adjustments instantly result in sweeping differences in playing tones. The Channel TWO EF86 "pentode" based preamp uses a 5 position tone knob for instant access to your favorite sounds. The quad EL-84 tube power amp section enjoys more chassis real estate and greater attention to detail regarding tube mountings. Power transformer orientation and tube rectification details have also been revamped. The 2x12" cab employs 2 dissimilar rated, Bad Cat customized Celestion speakers to further pump shimmering harmonics.
