Surf Rider
The Surf Rider is an amazingly authentic spring reverb simulation pedal. From mild ambiance settings to heavy surf and watery reverberation, the Surf Rider does not disappoint.
Contrary to other pedals of this nature that are currently available, the Surf Rider is no one knob wonder. The array of controls are designed to simulate the range and versatility of a vintage stand-alone reverb unit. The Surf Rider’s reverb tone can be adjusted for output level using the Level control as well as gain or intensity using the Depth control. The Tone control allows for the warm darker tone of small early tube amps or bright, splashy reverb tones of 60’s surf classics. Finally the Resonance control is a unique feature allowing you to fine tune the length of the reverb signal. Stutterbox
The StutterBox is a new take on an old effect…Tremolo! By combining old circuitry with modern technology, we have created a box with great tone, tons of chop and loads of versatility!
To start, the StutterBox is an optical tremolo. Like the best vintage amps we’ve all come to love, it relies on a light source and photocell to create that mesmerizing throbbing effect. This pedal features dual independent foot switchable Speed controls each with their own pulsing LEDs. The effect’s intensity is set by the Depth control which goes from absolutely nothing to vintage trem to an all out stutter. A 2-way toggle selects between hard and soft waveforms. We have also included a Level control to ensure that your signal always has enough gain & output to cut through the mix as well as a Tone control allowing you to dial in just the right amount of bite or warmth. Compression Machine
The Compression Machine is a retro styled optical compressor designed to deliver silky smooth compression with a blossoming release. An optical compressor relies on a photocell and LED or light source to control the dynamic range of the input signal. As the input signal increases the intensity of the LED, the photocell decreases gain thus creating compression. As the level of the input signal decreases, the gain of the amplifier stage is increased creating a sustaining effect. The beauty of an optical compressor is the smooth attack and gradual release.
The Compression Machine uses a buffered J-Fet input, low noise transistors and IC, and a selected optocoupler to deliver everything from subtle compression to heavy squash and violin like blooming sustain. True Bypass is standard as with all our pedals to deliver an unaltered bypassed signal. Unlike other compressors, the Compression Machine does not cut your treble response, ensuring a lively guitar tone with excellent presence.

Formula 69
The Formula 69 is a modern recreation of the classic late 60's, early 70's Fuzz Face circuit with a few tweaks and modifications to improve tone and versatility. Germanium fuzz faces are very temperamental as they react differently depending on the ambient temperature, guitar, amp, other effects in the chain, and of course, bias setting. Silicon Fuzz Faces are more reliable and consistent however they have a reputation of being harsh and too "high gain".
In order to address these issues, the first change was to fit the circuit with lower gain silicon transistors. With these hand selected transistors, there are no significant issues with temperature changes, oscillation, or radio interference. Furthermore, the tone switch completely alters the pedal's voicing as it allows the user to select a full and thick fuzz or to reduce the bottom end, resulting in a less woofy yet rich tone that cuts through the mix with ease! The external Bias control drastically changes the effect's midrange content and response. The pedal is highly responsive and cleans up extremely well as the guitars volume is rolled back.
The Formula 69 offers the best of both worlds...warm, soulful tone with loads of fuzz, in a modern, compact, consistent and reliable package.

Super Drive
The SuperDrive draws its roots from the ever popular and superb sounding overdrive and distortion tones of the mid to late 70's. It was designed with clarity and versatility in mind, while pumping out loads of crunchy, amp sizzling distortion. Rock Machine
The Rock Machine oozes attitude! This nasty little dirt box will give you all the bark and bite you need! High Octane
The High Octane's main focus is clarity, response and versatility. The goal for this pedal was to produce a rich, complex, low to mid gain overdrive in a simple package with lots of output. The tone is smooth and full bodied yet crisp and clear, highly responsive to player dynamics, pick attack and guitar output; as such, it cleans very well up as you reduce your guitar's volume. The EQ is perfectly balanced eliminating the need for a tone control and allowing your guitars tone and character to shine through.
The High Octane's gain ranges from a natural clean boost to a gritty low to medium gain OD. We have also included a 2-way Mode switch as a standard feature for 2009 providing Blues and Bite modes. The Bite mode is the standard High Octane setting proving crisp, uncompressed breakup and high output. The Blues mode engages the germanium circuitry providing extra compression, added saturation and a warmer, more rounded overdrive tone. If more distortion is required, simply put one of our fine boosters before the High Octane and dial in as much layered, creamy saturation you desire!

Funkbox
The FunkBox is the perfect envelop filter for someone seeking maximum versatility and simplicity. We have absolutely loaded this pedal with features resulting in an almost endless variety of tones and textures while maintaining the warmth and organic feel you would expect from one of our pedals. Rather than supply you with a the usual auto-quack box, the tone of FunkBox is reminiscent of a vintage Italian wah.
The FunkBox is equipped with 3 knobs controlling the filter's response time, sensitivity and resonance (Q), a 6 way rotary switch to select your desired sweep and set the pedal's frequency range. We have also thrown in a sweep reverse footswitch that allows you to control the sweep direction on the fly. This footswitch is also equipped with a 2 color LED indicator to easily identify which direction you have selection. Formula 76
The Formula 76 is a modern recreation of the classic mid 70s Japanese octave up fuzz pedals such as the Standard Fuzz & Super Fuzz pedals.
We have gone the extra mile to address all of the original designs shortcomings. We have added an LED indicator for the foot switchable tone settings, a compression knob dial in just the right about of chaos and disaster, a tone knob to easily control the top end and harshness, and an extra output gain stage to increase the amount of volume at your disposal. We have also built in standard SolidGoldFX features such as true bypass switching with a clear, high brightness LED indicator and a filtered and protected 2.1mm DC input jack.
The Formula 76 is by no means a polite or refined pedal; its a nasty, over-the-top fuzz, loaded with overtones and octave up notes. It also benefits from the convenience of a foot operated tone switch selecting either mid scooped, bottom heavy tone or a mid boosted, slightly higher output, cutting tone. It is a chaotically musical fuzz.

Agent 13
The Agent 13 pedal is the ultimate tone tool for high gain fuzz lovers looking for some seriously twisted and textured fuzz tones. The Agent 13 does it all! From soft to over-the-top, super gated to overload and everything in between! It can even be set to self-oscillate at maximum fuzz settings with the instrument's volume set to zero, allowing the user to vary the pitch and intensity of the oscillation by playing around with the tone switch, fuzz, bias and volume controls. If nasty yet versatile fuzz is what you're after, the Agent 13 will not disappoint!
The Agent 13 is built around the same platform as the Formula 69, but make no mistake, these are two very different beasts! The design goal of the Formula 69 was to deliver a warm and smooth fuzz pedal; the goal of the Agent 13 was to go to the other extreme! The pedal features high gain, hand selected transistors, specially tuned circuitry, and an extended bias range. As a bonus for 2009, we have incorporated the flexibility of a 3-way tone toggle switch delivering biting treble rich fuzz tones from the 60'ss to heavy sludge fuzz heaven. The Agent 13 is aggressive without being harsh, delivering tons of saturation! Additional tones and textures can be achieved by simply rolling back on your guitar's volume.

Nitro
The Nitro Boost is a transparent, super low noise clean boost, boasting loads of output on tap and a very cool 2-way mode switch selecting Clean and Dirty modes. In Clean mode, the pedal adds a sweet, lively character and sparkle to your tone, while remaining extremely responsive. Set to Dirty, the Nitro produces a mild, natural sounding grind/overdrive tone. The pedal becomes highly responsive to player dynamics, volume level, pick attack, and pickup output. It is great for getting an EL84 like grind out of larger tube amps or getting a lot more saturation out of effects and tube amps without deafening volume levels. Also great for tonal architects who love to layer different pedals to build their tone!
Versatility is always a must; leave the pedal on at the front of your chain to add some extra charm to your tone, crank it in front of a tube amp for some of the sweetest distortion tones, slap it in front of a drive pedal for more juice or place it at the end of your chain for an awesome solo boost! Buffer
The Buffer is a very simple solution to a very annoying problem - dull tone. Dull tone can be caused by long cable runs, extended effects chains, cables with high resistance or capacitance, non true bypass effects, etc. True bypassed pedals are also a cause of dull tone; every extra true bypassed pedal you add to your effects chain increases both resistance and capacitance in your signal chain due to the added patch cables and connections. It is generally good practice to use a buffer in your signal chain, placed as close to the guitar as possible for maximum effectiveness. The result will be a livelier tone with great response and high end sparkle you never thought you had!
The Buffer can be powered using 9-18V pedal power supplies. Battery operation is not possible due to the compact size of the case. An LED indicator has been provided to show that the buffer is powered and active. It is recommended that you place the buffer towards the beginning of your signal chain. Certain pedals such as vintage styled fuzz pedals may respond differently to a buffer; you may have to experiment with the pedals placement based on your signal chain.
