Diablo

The Diablo is a versatile low to medium gain overdrive with an exceptionally dynamic response. It preserves the character of your instruments and is very sensitive to your playing technique. Thanks to the effective and musical controls, the Diablo works equally well with any kind of guitar, amp or playing style. People use it for so many different sounds, you would hardly believe that they use the same pedal. Besides the usual Gain, Tone and Level knobs, the Diablo has some more interesting controls: FEED affects the amount of bass in the input signal. You know the problem: an overdrive sound gets muddy rapidly if the input signal is too bass heavy (that’s why the treble booster was invented). With the FEED control you can make even the fattest neck humbucker sound clear and transparent or beef up weak pickups a little. The BODY control takes effect on mids and compression. Another important feature is the HEADROOM SWITCH. Set to the "HI" position, an internal electronic voltage doubler is activated – the Diablo runs on 18 Volts from a regular 9 V battery or power supply. The higher voltage gives more dynamic range, more headroom and tighter bass – just try it!

TwinSonic

The TwinSonic combines a clean boost (MORE!) and low-to-medium-gain overdrive (ROCK!) The overdrive gives you the sound of your (non-master) amp cranked... at any volume. Therefore it is very neutral sounding by itself – it doesn’t change the sonic or dynamic character of your setup. Besides the Gain and Level controls, the TwinSonics overdrive section features two controls for precise fine-tuning. The TONE control affects the mids – turn it to the left for more lower mids and a fatter, softer tone or to the right for a punchy "in your face" sound with pronounced upper mids. The CUT control rolls of treble when turned clockwise (like in the old Vox amps). The boost part of the TwinSonic provides a clean signal boost up to 20 dB. When used in conjunction with the overdrive, the signal can be boosted before the OD for more gain and sustain or after the OD for a volume boost or both at the same time! Dominator

 

After countless hours of tweaking and improving the circuit, I’m proud to present you the DOMINATOR high gain drive. Aggressive british crunch, classic heavy metal, modern high gain stuff or anything in between – the Dominator will do the job. This box has nothing in common with those overcompressed, artificial sounding "bedroom metal" distortion pedals that disappear in the mix if you try to use them in a real band situation. Raw natural gain structure, explosive attack, tight low end and great chord definition make the difference – the Dominator works equally well at home practice or stage level. The active 3-band EQ with switchable mid range frequency provides effective and intuitive control over a broad range of sounds. (For extensive descriptions of the controls please refer to the user manual). Just like the other OKKO drive pedals, the Dominator features an internal voltage doubler. The three gain stages and the EQ stage operate on different individually filtered voltages up to 18 volts for optimal dynamic response and very low noise performance. The Dominator works best in front of a clean amp with some headroom, especially if you use very bass heavy "chugga chugga" settings.

CocaComp

 

The OKKO CocaComp is a studio quality compressor and clean boost pedal. It doesn’t color your tone, it enhances it. Use it for your clean sound to make it big, tight and punchy without squashing your attack... put it before your dirty amp or overdrive pedals for dynamic singing lead tones without much distortion... plug in your Piezo-equipped acoustic guitar for a fatter, less harsh sound... the Coca makes everything sound better :-) The CocaComp’s circuit has nothing in common with the classic grey, red or orange stompbox compressors. Like expensive studio compressors, it works with an optocoupler for smooth and natural compression. Instead of Attack/Release/Treshold and all the controls, the Coca has only one control for the compression called SING (You won’t miss any of the others). It works like an "upward" compressor – leaving te attack and strong notes unchanged while amplifying quieter notes and subtleties of your playing and increasing the sustain. PUSH is the volume/boost control, unity gain is around 10 o‘clock.
