Two and a half years in the making, this is the sum of my ideas and thoughts on overdrive and distortion. I wanted Keeley Fans to have the best possible overdrive pedal at their feet. Endless tonal possiblities are what I strived for and I think you'll agree. Enjoy!
The Keeley Overdrive is capable of operating as a smooth, subtle drive that gives you plenty of warming overtones that fill a room. Prefer a grittier flavor of overdrive? It does that too! Using two different drive stages and a very responsive set of tone controls, the Keeley Overdrive retains all of your guitar's essence and adds any kind of grit or dirt you could want!
We were after an overdrive that made you want to play guitar. We wanted you to be able to get a dark tone, or a bright sound, a clean one or one very heavy and powerful. We wanted tone controls that were endlessly responsive and highly configurable. Compromise should never be part of what you hear. So we crafted a machine that shows off the rest of our gear and your music, instead of covering it up. We think you will agree!

6 Stage Phaser
 Swirl with deep rich phasing or rock out to some cutting, agressive phasing. Speed it up, slow it down with a brake-like function, tap in a phase rate/tempo. Perfection to your own tone with the edge control, now you can be in a unique place...from the first most mellow phasers to the edgiest ones ever thought of.
The Keeley Electronics Phaser is a 100% analog signal path pedal, with modern features, like tap tempo.
The Keeley Phaser boasts a 6-stage analog phasing circuit based on OTA IC's. Phasers with these circuits are known for very rich and deep phaser sounds. The phasing is not as mechanical as their JFET cousins and this contributes greatly to their lush sound. The Keeley Phaser has a beautiful resonant response in the slow speeds and a sonorous shimmer at the faster settings.
While we were working on the sound, we were also looking for new methods of control. Features like speed ramps and tap tempos were what we had in mind. We tried creating some of these features without digital help at first. It soon became apparent that this was very limiting.
What we wanted the digital circuitry to feel like was an "Invisible Hand" turning the knobs on your completely analog effect. This is very much what we achieved with the Keeley Phaser. Your signal is never sampled, your sound never deconstructed. It's as if an impossibly good guitar tech adjusted your phaser to the exact speed you were tapping.
In addition to the tap tempo feature we added a ramp that allows you to merge seamlessly between two different speeds. We were looking for something similar to the brake on a Leslie. This feature turned out to be way more fun than we expected!
This is a design idea from our long time friend David Szabados who was my partner on the entire Time Machine Boost pedal. He also created the design we went with.

Keeley Compressor
 Better than a Ross Compressor clone. The Keeley Compressor. It is true audiophile and studio grade compressor that sounds incredible! This is an incredibly small true-bypass looper box from Keeley Electronics! This little wonder is only 1 inch wide and 3 inches long. This will fit in the tightest of pedal boards and offer you a dramatic improvement in tone. Connect any effect to this unit that is "old school" and not true-bypass. In particular Vintage wahs, echos, phasers, fuzz face type pedals, etc. or even new effects that might have a weak bypass system. These elderly effects rob tone when they are off. You can make them truly bypassed when off now with this little box. Works with or without power. When you add a DC supply to this unit the two LED let you know if the loop is active or not. BLUE LED indicates your signal is passing through the vintage effect, RED LED indicates true-bypass. STOP TONE DRAIN!

The Keeley Katana is a cutting pre-amp. It delivers a wealth of tone and clean boosting. Want to keep your original tone with just a dash of sparkle and shimmer added, then have the control to boost it to any volume? This is it. The Katana is a fat, harmonically rich boost. Use it all the time to push your amp harder, or as an occasional boost to cut through the mix.
Two modes, Pure Clean and High Gain
* With the Speedo knob pushed in, think of it as a volume control that goes to 20.

Fuzz Head
 Designed to work like Fuzz Face pedals that many players use as a LEAD BOOST. A Fuzz Face can be muddy, lacking note definition, too bassy, and lacking sustain. An overdrive can be not enough or too smooth. In contrast our design is transparent, has a better frequency response, and gives you that cutting edge for lead breaks.
- The Heart of this pedal is a NPN Germanium Transistor.
- Additional Gain Stage, a Darlington Pair of high gain silicon transistors for tons of volume output. This is great for overdriving tube amps or other overdrive pedals.
- Buffered output so that it can drive pedals or amps with a nice high current and low impedance signal.

 Yup, ANOTHER Rangemaster clone. What makes this one even begin to raise an eyebrow is that it has the REAL DEAL, no joke Mullard OC44. Yup, Made in Holland. Got tons of them, and tons more of the even higher grade (?) CV7003 version by Mullard as well.
