The One Knob Fuzz Box
 So . . . I'm at Dick Denneys bungalow about 5 years or so ago . For those of you who don't know , Dick designed the Vox AC30 and was just about the best guy who ever worked in the music industry ! Well , we're sitting down talking valve echo when he produces a circuit board he designed back in 1961 . . . . It was still in his drawer ! We plugged it in and it blew me away ! it sounded FANTASTIC - like a germanium pedal - nasty - garagey - trashy - with ONE control that did everything at the same time - gain , volume , nastiness , garaginess ! We went into production straight away and called it the one knob fuzz . This is our latest version - it still it Dicks design but on a tonebender board and with one special addition - inside there's a little preset wheel that allows you to balance the effected sound against your true bypassed sound - sneaky eh , a one knob fuzz with a secret wheel ! ? So here's a trubute to the man himself , Dick Denney - king of the capacitors !

Thin Case Tonebender Fuzz
 We had a hard time making the prototype for this one - every mid seventies Tonebender we opened had different insides - so we took our ten best sounding ones and slowly whittled away till we had a winner - and thats what we based this on - we've used three silicon transistors just like the mid seventies original , still all hand wired and still totally cool - we're very proud to put our name on it .

The Yellow Tonebender
 The best Tonebender ever ?
The sound of this pedal is based on a '72 Tonebender . We have built it on a Supa Tonebender board and used two original 1960s bfy71 silicon transistors to raise the gain plus a 60s NKT214 germanium transistor which provides the classic transparent fuzz tone .
So , a whole load of original 60s parts plus we've also used an arrow switch , germanium diode , military grade pots and as usual a whole lotta love to create our best Tonebender ever !

The
Overdriver / Power Boost
 So what's the difference between the Power Boost and the Overdriver ?? Um . . . .nothing ! Except the case . The Power Boost was born in the late sixties - the idea was to give guitarists a boost . . . . . in power , and it did ! Guess it was just luck that when you turned the pedal up full it sounded like the best stack ever ! We we're really popular with glaziers in
those days , windows were shattering right accross London ! Then the pedal was taken to the Dallas trade show where it was given a huge standing ovation ( like clapping - the guitars hadn't been invented yet ) and a bunch of flowers - you see the American market was ready for the sound but felt it looked a bit too . . . well . . .orange .
So , it was rehoused in a grey hammerite case , called the Overdriver , Jeff beck made 'Blow by Blow' with it , and the rest , as they say , is a mystery . . I mean history ! Recently I was lucky enough to be presented with three , unused Power Boosts circa 1968 - they we're still in their packing , never been sold - they sounded just great - just like a new one ! No kidding - I A/b tested the pedals old and new and blindfolded I couldn't tell the difference . . . well I could have felt for the master volume - we have added that - windows are expensive these days !

Colorsound Wah
 STOP PRESS - LIMITED RUN OF BLACK WAHS WITH BLACK TOPS IN STOCK AS WE SPEAK !
Well we have no production of Wah's at the moment so we're getting as many used ones as we can , reconditioning them and reselling . Problem is , demand is high , so they hardly ever get onto the website - but we have a plan and hopefully there will always be one or two available - this is an unusual yellow one - normally red - it's a Dick Denney one ( Dick , for those of you who don't know , is the genius who designed the Vox AC30 amongst other things ) . Dick is sadly no longer with us but his inventiveness and absolute perfectionism lives on through some of our pedals - including this - the Worlds funkiest wah !

The Colorsound Tremolo
 So what's all the fuss about ? We just make the best sounding tremolo in the World . . . .no big deal . . . leave us alone ! What ? what's so special about it - guess it sounds like an old Vox amp - that's what we always tried to do - make it sound like an old Vox amp - it's soft when it decays . . . . it throbs ! mmmmmmmmmmmmmm it throbs !
