MODE ONE = GAIN BOOST STAGE 1:
Provides a broad usable range of virtually clean sound through a very smooth single stage gain boost and is controlled by the EDGE, LEVEL, (interactive) BASS & TREBLE, and MASTER knobs. Engage the RIGHT footswitch for this mode; Yellow LED.

MODE TWO = GAIN BOOST STAGES 1+2:
Provides all the surprising gain boost of STAGE 1 with the added tremendous power of STAGE 2. In this overdrive mode the first GAIN knob is accessible. This layered gain architecture resembles a potent 2-tube version of the famous HOT CAT front end. Engage the RIGHT footswitch for this mode; Red LED.

2-TONE
INTRODUCING the 2-TONE FOOT PEDAL - Packing the tone busting heat of two different 12AX7 tube pedals previously released by Mark Sampson. The all new and improved 2-Tone offers two switchable tone channels with performance LED readout. Channel one: Volume tone boost. Channel two: Gain Channel; gain, bass, treble, and master. True by-pass. All housed in a hefty 8 1/4" square and 2 3/4" high chrome faced steel chassis. Very much like the Matchless Hot Box but with more refinement and improvement.

CHANNEL ONE = TONE BOOST CHANNEL:
Provides a Volume or level match reference control to maintain sound play volume when accessing this TONE channel. This channel is both your TONE BOOST and CLEAN play channel when optional tone color may be desired without overdrive.

CHANNEL TWO = GAIN BOOST CHANNEL:
Provides GAIN boost or pure tube overdrive effect as a function of the GAIN & MASTER settings. In general, for highest gain output, favor a higher gain setting for GAIN and lower setting for MASTER. The MASTER control operates exclusively on Channel Two.
