I took his suggestions and used them to make improvements in the original Octron, along with the suggestions of others and came up with something cool, new and unique – Octron 2. Octron2 is the limited-production version of the Foxrox Octron pedal. Since it’s debut in April of 2005, the original Octron pedal has been hailed as a super-organic sounding, high quality analog Octave pedal. New from Swart! – The mail would start innocently enough: “Hi, I love your amps!” Then would come the hook: “So…, can I play the STR-Tweed in the same room with Aunt Rene? She’s not a heavy napper but her hearing aid can be dialed back.” Sure, Jimmy. Indeed. Truth be told, even the little ST-6V6se would make Aunt Rene’s eyes change hue given a heavy hand and increased endorphins.
