X2 #77
The new B3 XS model is a true hybrid encompassing the very best features, woods, and electronics from two of the giants that have come to define the electric guitar, at least until now. Gene starts with an "S" type body made of the finest grade Korina and then adds to that a Korina set neck-thru topped with an aged Brazilian fretboard melting into the body via a heel carve that is smooth as can be giving the player access to all the upper register real estate. The electronics, again, with 2 Humbuckers and a middle position single coil, give the player the best of two worlds. The hardware package includes a vintage style Wilkinson tremolo as well as locking Sperzel tuners.

Earth #41
What can you say about Gene Baker? He's a mad man first and foremost, having dedicated his life towards the evolution and improvement of the electric guitar as we know it. People have often coined comparisons to his Leo Fender-like approach; afraid of nothing, and if he feels a customer's idea is a wise choice for the guitar playing industry he'll find a way to make it happen. Doing any search on the net, you will find nothing but positive synergy from all that have worked with him or have been a customer of his. Gene Baker guitars are known for their smooth, comfortable lines that are very appealing to the eye. Merge that with TonePros, Buzz Feiten and some of today's modern technology and you have a guitar built to be reckoned with.
The Earth presented on the right is just a very interesting and special instrument. Think of the sounds of Leslie West or Townshend in the 60s who all where Special P-90 players. But now think of a guitar that plays incredible ! This was the problem with those guitars, they sounded cool, but did not tune well or play well. Why ? In my opinion players where trying to use a budget line guitar as a pro instrument. They were not meant to be professional grade guitars.
Enter the Baker Earth. Now you have the tone, the MORE classic sounds with 3 P-90s to select from and INCREDIBLE playability ! Do not wait this guitar is begging to go home and be plugged into a plexi or a tweed and just have your jaw and ears drop !
This guitar as all Bakers are purely magical instrument that are worthy of a lifetime of playing. You pull this out at a gig, you plug it in at a recording session, you play it at home and you will be seeing and hearing a instrument that only few have seen, heard or played on the planet.
Just look at the guitar in the case below, it looks nicer than a casket not to be to morbid !
Pure art meets tone !

This guitar to the right is just jaw dropping. That is all you can truly say, it is truly a work of art. The top is three dimensional, when viewing the back the Flame Maple neck just pops out at you. But how does it play how does it sound. The guitar is weighted and balanced wonderful, the frets are incredible crowned and true, and neck and body is highly sanded, buffed and waxed. But that is just the aesthetics.
Plugging the guitar into a Fargen Bourdeux produced just pure tone. Sustaining fat tone period. It is just huge ! Warm, articulate, and easy to play top down.
