Scott Henderson Signature Series

The Xotic cable is the most natural sounding cable for electric guitar. The short 4.5 length is very important. When using a long guitar cable, turning down the volume knob on the guitar also causes a loss of treble. Some people try to fix this problem by putting a capacitor and resistor on the guitar's volume pot, but I don't think that sounds natural. Using a short cable makes the guitar sound clearer and fatter, and you won't lose treble when turning down the guitar volume knob. Also, the positive wire has an extra shield to prevent noise.

Xotic Standard Cable

Original Xotic Cable (XGC-1) was developed with three strict requirements: sound should not be thin, sound should cut through and it should have minimal noise. We utilized spirally structure copper wire shielded with conductive vinyl and wrapped with an flexible outer coating. The result; an easy to handle cable providing superior sound with minimal noise. We used the gold standard of plugs, Switchcraft (straight #280, right-angle #226). Since most high-end guitars use Switchcraft jacks, matching the brand of plugs with jacks minimizes any electrical connection issues.
