What is the Ultimate Attenuator? The UA is a simple but clever design that incorporates a proprietary active circuit for a clarity and punch unattainable in any attenuator on the market. The basic model consists of one volume knob and one bypass switch and that's it!

We have spent much time dialing in our options and all are now whole heartedly recommended and will in no way compromise the original tone.

The UA is not a filter and as such, does not introduce any significant distortion or loss of clarity to the sound of your amp. If you like the way your guitar and amp sounds, you will love the UA. I know I do as it has been an integral part of my rig for two years now. The amps pictured on this website are some of the amps it has been used and developed with. The basic unit can be used with 2, 4, 8 and 16 ohm amps or impedance taps and can be used with 4,8 or 16 ohm cabinets in any impedance combination except for a 2 ohm cabinet. There is also a 2 ohm version that is made for 2 ohm amps and cabinets available and can be used with any impedance amp and cabinet combination up to about 50 (actual) watts.
