Marshall Handwiried 1974 & Extension Cab

The Marshall 1974X is a handwired reissue of the classic, 18 Watt combo of the late '60s. The original versions of this 18 watt amp (made from 1966–1968) are true vintage collectable and extremley hard to find. At the very heart of the 1974X are 6 Tubes - 3 x ECC83s in preamp, 1 x EZ81 rectifier, 2 x EL84s for the power amp features. This is a two channels and a valve-driven Tremolo circuit (on Channel 2). Each channel offers two inputs plus volume and tone controls. Channel 2 also has Speed and Depth controls for the Tremolo.

A contributing sonic factor in the original 1974 is the way the sound of the Celestion Greenback speaker softens with age. For the 1974X, Celestion revisited the recipe for the original 20 Watt, ceramic magnet, 15 Ohm, Greenback T1221 speaker, and “aged” it. The result is a new speaker that is old school Marshall that yields all of the sonic characteristics of the original.

1974CX 1x12 Cab
A 1x12 extension cabinet that is mad to match the 1974X Combo. Inside it has the aged reissue of the original 20W, ceramic-magnet Celestion T1221 speaker. Stack the the 1974X combo on top or side to for the fullest badest most retro looking rig you could have !

Marshall Handwiried 2061 & Cab

An authentic, handwired re-issue of the original 2061 head (1968-1973), this compact, twin-channel, all-valve beauty houses 2 x ECC83 valves in its preamp and a pair of cathode biased EL84s in its power stage. The 2061X features a solid-state, silicon diode rectifier, and is a much more aggressive and surprisingly modern sounding amplifier, while still possessing that unmistakable and highly desirable, vintage all-valve tone. Just like the original, the 2061X boasts a point-to-point, handwired, tagboard circuit, a mild-steel chassis and Dagnall transformers.

As the perfect sonic and visual partner for the 2061X we offer the 2061CX - a compact, angled-front 2x12", 60 Watt cabinet loaded with Celestion's renowned G12H-30 re-issue speakers

The Marshall Offset JTM45 Halfstack Reissue

Limited Edition of one of the rarest Marshall amplifies ever made !!

Marshall Amplification, in England produced the special limited edition reissue of the incredibly rare (only three were originally made) offset JTM45 half stack (model #2255HS). This reissue was available in very limited quantities in the USA only and is now sold out. BUT Music Toyz.com has two left never sold, never played, BRAND NEW !!!

The offset JTM45 half stack consists of the offset-chassis JTM45 head and 4 x 12" offset speaker cabinet with a semi-open back design. Authentic hand-wired tag board circuitry and KT66 power tubes are housed in an aluminum chassis, true to the original, which was built in 1962. Every effort has been made to preserve the pristine sound and aesthetics of these amplifiers, right down to the 12" Celestion Alnico speakers and the extremely rare rectangular metal, red block lettered Marshall "coffin" shaped logo. The JTM45 also features the same black vinyl covering, white/gray grille cloth and white front panel as the original.

In 1962, three extremely rare offset chassis JTM45 heads were built, complete with matching offset 4x12 cabinets. To celebrate the new millennium, Marshall has painstakingly recreated this eye-catching set-up, from the hand wired, tag board circuit housed in an aluminum chassis all the way through to the original Silver Celestion Alnico speakers. They've even resurrected the original "coffin" logo. I asked Jim Marshall about this logo and he has no idea where the term coffin originated. "We got the logos from a case company, not a coffin company."

Only 300 of these unique looking, majestic sounding, all valve (3xECC83's, 1xGZ34, 2xKT66's) half stacks were made. The limited run for the U.S. market included a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity and a handbook in a plush leather folder
