Posted : March 31st, 2011 by toyz

NEW from Fulltone! If you love the first 2 Hendrix releases then you’ll love this pedal, with 2 Germanium transistors hand-picked and tested for optimum performance. A Contour Knob lets you dial in Midrange, Harmonics and Sustain, also an “Input ” knob that takes out the “woofiness” and gives great Overdrive/Distortion sounds when its level is reduced. An internal “Bias” Trimmer allows for adjustment of Clipping Symmetry, Harmonics, and Tracking. This is a limited run of this pedal and WE ONLY HAVE 8! You better grab yours now!

Dr. Z Carmen Ghia Head in Black

Posted : February 4th, 2011 by toyz

Just Arrived from Dr. Z! At first glance, the Carmen Ghia looks rather, well, modest. This is why the Ghia leaves so many people floored from the first note. Clean notes come out with a warmth, complexity, and sustain like one has never heard from such a small amp. Every note has a hugeness to it that seems far beyond an 18 watt head. All this comes before the amp really starts to sing. As you turn the Volume clockwise, the fun factor increases. This is an incredibly fun amp, and you’ll have trouble putting your guitar down. The Carmen Ghia interacts with the player because the player can feel the power tube distortion.
