New (sort of…) From Wattson! -A message from Wattson Electronics … “After a six month break, we’ve resumed production of the Wattson Classic Fuzz, our reproduction of the legendary Shin-ei FY-6. After six months of letters and emails from our customers and dealers, we’re thrilled to be back at work! Sh*t happens! It’s the nature of business. When it happens, you have to deal with it, and come up with a plan for moving forward. In our case, the sh*t was a trademark dispute with another pedal manufacturer. Legal disputes are part of doing business, but they can be especially difficult for a small business like ours. We weighed our options, and finally decided that the only rational way to keep going was to change the name of our product and get back to work while we dealt with the legal stuff. We want to reassure you, our valued customers, that the Wattson Classic Fuzz is identical to the product we were making before – the only thing that’s changed is the name. Well, it might also be a few micrograms lighter, owing to a little less white paint on the logo silkscreen!”
