Gang of Four – in the present Post Punk is a term to describe Gang of Four but I just remember them as something new something different in the early 80s. I was heavily in my UK phase of new music when they poped on the scene the throbbing bass lines, and funky drumming just was wonderful. Even more interesting was Andy Gill on guitar who used the instrument more as a feedback synth more than anything else.
