What is a pedalboard ? - What is a pedalboard ? - A pedalboard or effects board is something that is so many things to so many people. It really is what we want it to be or better yet what we are trying to accomplish with it actually. One guitar player maybe a basic blues guy with a overdrive pedal, wah-wah and a delay pedal..that’s it ! The next guy might be a noize type player with 6 fuzz pedals, compressors, 2 delays, octave pedal, a micro synth, volume pedal etc. There both pedalboards but they are trying to accomplish two totall different things. Walking Tour of Electro Harmonix
Posted : April 30th, 2009 by toyz| Walking Tour of Electro Harmonix - Great video of the Electro Harmonix and its factory in Long Island City NY. Turns out that EHX also manufacturers a huge percentage of the world’s vacuum tubes in its factory in Russia, which are then sent back to New York for testing and pairing before being sold to vintage and high-end audio fans, as well as manufacturers like McIntosh. Very cool video showing the inside of the factory the crazy place built by Mike Matthews ! Click on photo for Video ! |

Les Dudek ’70s Mystery Guitarist ?
Posted : May 8th, 2008 by toyzLes Dudek - being a kid of the 70s and 80s I would research and listen to music all day and night. I remember listening to a Les Dudek album at my sisters apartment and I thought this is really good stuff. I never bought his albums because there was always something else in the way. I never did figure where he came from (bands) and where he went he just fell off my radar ? He was a cross between Boz Skags and Trower some of his songs had GREAT univibe sounds etc, and great songwritting. Anyone have any info of where Mr Dudek went and what bands he was in before going solo ? To watch video click in the middle of the picture !
