The top, the tone, the carved knobs, the inlay, binding, the neck its just a true work of art. Plug it in and it can only described as a piano. EVERY note has clarity you just dont hear guitars like this. This is an instrument ! One of the really nice aspects of this model is the carved back. Not only does it reduce the overall weight of the guitar but it also presents the fretboard in a very ergonomic position and forces the guitar to hang at the correct location between the shoulders. Eric Johnson – Spanish Castle Magic – I am pretty sure this is from the 2nd Austin City Limits with Eric Johnson ? I don’t know what I like better Malford Milligans vocals or Eric’s playing. Not very Hendrix like but thats what is cool its him doing a Hendrix’s song. Not Eric trying to be Hendrix let’s be honest there was only one Jimi ! Great chops, great vocals, great song ! Ventures Mosrite Style Guitars ! - Ok we picked these guitars up because they are just so Johnny Ramone cool. A take off of ’60s Mosrite guitars actually endorsed by “The Ventures” to boot. With these guitars you can see a guitar jam happening at some beach blanket bingo party or well Gabba Gabba Hey !
But these guitars are NOT a joke ! They play wonderful have very small C style necks and the Seymour Duncan designed pickups are FAT! Very nice trem setup which is very Jazzmaster/Jaguar like !
