The Birth of Hardcore – I had thought about posting a rant about this weeks ago and passed because it was so close to my heart. The movie American Hardcore came out in Sept and is an expose of the American Hardcore Punk scene of the 80s. As Henry Rollins says if someone told you the story you would just say “Ohh your making it up”. He pauses and then states “No I’m not” and I have to back him up I was there. As I look back at 20 to 25 yrs later I don’t want to come off as some old guy “Oh those where the days” type thing.
