MXR EVH Flanger IN STOCK

Posted : August 14th, 2006 by toyz

Dunlop and Edward Van Halen have collaborated to bring back the classic tone of the MXR Flanger that powered timeless Van Halen tunes like “Unchained” and “And the Cradle Will Rock.” The result of their effort is the MXR EVH 117 Flanger, a stompbox with the same bucket-brigade technology that provided the sweeping, whooshing magic of the original. This updated model comes with the EVH Switch, which instantly calls up Eddie’s “Unchained” sound with the exact settings used to get the original guitar tone. On top of that, it comes painted with the cool striped graphics Eddie used to customize his guitars. GotoMXR EVH Flanger

History of the Yardbirds…..

Posted : August 10th, 2006 by toyz

The Yardbirds – Incredibly interesting documentary on the history of The Yardbirds. The first part goes thru Eric Clapton entrance and exit and the recruitment of Jimmy Page. What I find interesting is that its not glossed over in anyway, lots of the members trash Clapton for leaving the group! Also let’s not forget Jeff Beck’s involvement in the band, noted as the prodigy band of guitar players in the 60s! Click on the picture and watch the video RIGHT HERE !

Zvex Box of Rox ….NEW !

Posted : August 8th, 2006 by toyz

The Box of Rock is Z. Vex Efx first “distortion” pedal, highly specialized to simulate the “everything of 10″ sound of a classic Marshall JTM45 non-master-volume amplifier. You may use the BOR effectively with many different amplifiers, but to get the sound I heard when I designed it, try it through a Marshall at least once. You may use your guitar’s volume control to adjust for the exact amount of distortion you need, all the way down to very clean and clear with most drive settings. GotoZvex Box of Rox
