Rush The Trees - In the 70s Critics either loved or hated Rush as did most of the public. Musicians and potheads loved them, jocks, rockers and punks hated them. Still today I don't know where I fell in the gamat but I loved them. Alex to me was one of the first shred type guy that wasn't blues based in his approach. Yes there was Howe and McLoughlin but this seemed more raw or something.
