NAMM 2007 Show Highlights !!

NAMM Show !! - Just got back from NAMM 2007 in Anaheim Calif and it was a very busy show to say the least !

Lots of new products from companies we already carry and we found some new stuff that we think is very cool ! First Ill make a few bullet points of stuff I saw etc, then some pictures of new products !

All in all it was a great show, nice to get warmed in the California weather. Saw a woman in 7-11 early in the AM when I was going to the gym, thought I was nuts in shorts and T-shirt. Your crazy she yelled at me ! She had a full winter coat on AND a scarf ! It was 55 degrees out at 7AM a full 60 degrees than I was the day before !

• Suhr showed a relic guitar series, no price or info yet but COOL
• Boss has 4 new pedals
• Maxon has 4 new pedals
• Guyatone has 3 new pedals
• Seymour Duncan has 3 new pedals
• Bad Cat has 2 new cool amps
• Fuchs showed 2 high gain amps
• Gig FX has 2 new pedals coming out
• Found some company that makes wireless footswitching system cool !
• Voodoo Lab switch box looked very nice
• Trailer Trash 2 new pedal boards
• Pro Tools coming to Music Toyz.com in March
• Some other stuff coming we can't talk about yet !

TC Electronics - TC showed off their 3 new pedals that are re-creations of the famous pedals of the 70/80s. Phaser, Sustainer and Distortion out starting in Feb...

Dunlop - The Octavio recreation by Dunlop. Exact copy of the one in the Hendrix Exp museum in Seatle !

Dunlop - The famous Jeorge Tripps holding the new Fuzz Face they went as far as having the cardboard 9V battery clip recreated ! Exact transistor and jacks incredible job !

Eventide - Eventide a sleeper in the FX world for years finally kicked it up a notch with these new pedals out in 30 days. One is a delay the other modulation AWESOME !

Tokai - Tokai guitars are coming the USA and I must say these are wonderful playing, toneful and playing guitars. Will be arriving slowly over the next 4 months!

Menatone - Brian showed off the King of Brits and Howie ! The King will be shipping in two weeks, Howie in 60 days max !

Zvex - Ok what can we say is the top picture the coolest ! Groups of Super Hard Ons painted as a group ! We bought about 50% of the NAMM custom stuff, look for registry page at zvex.com soon ! Also the new Box of Metal which is ultra high gain. Our friend Erik was demo'ing gear all weekend..

Mad Prof/BJF - Mad Proffessor a off shoot of BJF pedals showed the Little Green Wonder and the Delay. Look for them in March !

Pigtronixs - Pigtronixs was showing the new delay and modulation pedal. VERY cool, unique sounds. But not ready for 6 months WAHHH

Vox - Vox had the coolest display of a store from the 60s, the plexi AC30 from the 1968 NAMM show, and Dick Dennys bench from 1959 the godfather of overdrive ! It was very cool....look for hardwired AC15 soon !
